Remember that the past is a memory, which allowed you to grow.
You are the present, and the future is endless.

What is yoga after all? It is something we experience inside, deep within our being. Yoga is not an external experience. In yoga we try in every action to be as attentive as possible to everything we do.
Desikachar
Hatha Yoga Cleanse for the entire digestive system
Rejuvenates & promotes health and well being
facilitated by Sw Pavitrananda & Sn. Gyananidhi (Jane Allen)
date to be announced, if interested please contact Pavitrananda
The yogic cleanse (shankaprakshalana) deals with the entire digestive system (esophagus, stomach, small intestine and large intestine).
In this workshop we will teach the small cleanse (laghoo shankaprakshalana), which is gentle and does not need any special dietary requirements afterwards.
(a simple meat and sugar free diet for the day of the cleanse is recommended)
Once you have learned and practiced under guidance you will be able to do the cleanse on your own whenever the need arises. All you will need is clean warm lightly salted water.
The cleanse is a great rejuvenator for body and mind. It works particularly on the pranic system (prana = life force) and can facilitate the release of energetic and emotional blockages.

* Kirtan is the call-and-response chanting/singing of sacred mantras. The chanting is traditionally accompanied by harmonium and drum. Kirtan as a yoga practice is part of nada yoga. Yoga teaches us that the special vibration of the sounds created effects us on various levels, e.g. cellular, emotional, mental, psychic … The singing of Kirtan has a purifying and releasing effect on our overall being. It is the Yoga of the Heart.
